This is a piece I was thinking about and wanting to knit for Arlene Stearns, for about 5 years. It took me so long because I felt foolish to knit a picture of chairs. Then I realized other artists had their 'chairs' to deal with, very famous chairs by now...
Anyway, I'm happy I knitted it, and it was definitely from my heart with much appreciation and gratitude to that special place, and to Arlene.
