Darwin Shaw -
The Four Seasons
14"X19"

Knitted from side to side, using the weaving technique.

I call it 'The 4 seasons' because for me Darwin lived a full circle of life - nearly to 100 years.
I connect this piece to Darwin because the day of his passing was the day I was knitting the middle line in the picture, moving from autumn and winter into spring and summer. And it so happened that I was knitting the last row (at work, in the fabric store) when people gathered for his departure ceremony.
I am very happy I met him.

These 2 pictures are about sanskaras, I do not know how or why, but - I am happy to get them OUT of my system!
