Dead/Lonely tree #1
15 X 19

Knitted from down up, with different cross stitch thread added here and there. It was knitted as a part of a 2 piece display for an exhibition. I thought it was too large, and so - knitted 'dead tree' #2... (on the right)

I planned to exhibit this piece on the center (in myrtle Beach) together with a photo of Baba's entombment. I thought I would find a black and white photo but the only one I could find was from Mehera-Meher. It was  very beautiful - and painful - and to my surprise had a lot of pink, red and brown in it, similar to the colors of the path in my knitted picture.

Dead/lonely tree #2
9.5 X 14.5

Knitted sideways. Instead of working from a chart, I just put my clear graph paper right on the photo (4x6) and worked straight from that. When it was done - I decided I liked the first picture better - but that I still want to try working on this very same picture with other techniques.

20"X21"

Knitted sideways, with two yarns ( one of them is variegated). This is one of my favorite pictures.
