Deer Crossing
(A 'Slow Down' sign at Meher Center, S.C.)
13"X16"
Knitted sideways in st.st.

This picture symbolises for me the love those who work on the center (as a full time job) have for it. How they know the Center so intimatly.

   What with the pink thread?
A piece of Baba's coat, torn as He passed by...    When I had an exhibit on the center people would ask me: "Really? Is it really from Baba's coat?"  Well it is not, as I came to Baba in 92, and do not really have Baba's things.
A friend of mine who does have them remembered she noticed a loose thread in the Baba pink coat she has, and generously - gave me this thread.
And a little 'after that' - a year later both of us were working in the same fabric store.

Mischievous Chicken On Seclusion Hill
17.5"X20"
Sold

Weaving style. Very rich with rainbow colors and brown greens for the hill. Knitted with Indian yarn.

Sometimes a picture feels strong (spiritually) as I knit it, even though I do not quite understand it myself.
Why the mischievous chicken symbol in front of Seclusion Hill? I do not know. But later I saw a picture of Baba standing in front of the hill, His feet exactly where the m.c. starts.
